This AP-based indie group found their roots right here at LhMA. Frontman Max Connery cut his teeth at the academy, honing his songwriting chops from fellow festival performer and former LhMA teacher Joe P. After the band's initial success, Max spent his downtime teaching Lakehouse students himself.

Sonic Blume's early sound was crafted right here at Lakehouse Recording Studios. Their journey kicked off with Moto Records before they found their home at Shore Points Records. Then in 2023, they brought their dreamy sound to the inaugural Lakehouse Block Party.
