Shane been a saxophonist for almost 20 years now, when he started learning in public school way back in 3rd grade, and continued learning on his own after graduating. In the past, he’s played in his high school's production of Peter Pan and In The Heights, played countless Jazz concerts for his school featuring as a soloist in the majority of the songs, he’s had the honor of performing with the All-Shore Jazz Band, and marched with his school’s marching band for 4 years while they played at the top of their division.

Shane is trained in Jazz, Symphonic Orchestra, Musical theater, Rock Solo, and currently practices Experimental Performance. Some of his biggest inspirations are Clarence Clemons, Leo (Leo P) Pellegrino of Too Many Zooz, and Colin Stetson who is known for his movie soundtrack work in Hereditary (2018), The Menu (2022), and countless other films. Shane is a published musician with his catalog available on all streaming services under Shane Horn.

Shane is a strong believer in the "do-what-works-best-for-you" method, and he excitedly helps his students discover who they are and what kind of musician they desire to grow in to. Whether you're getting private lessons to master your schools concert or you want to learn for fun, he can help develop your skills to fully master your instrument. Shane is flexible, knowledgeable, and always willing to work in whatever manor is best for your rising star.
