Paul Ritchie
Music Director
A second-hand guitar, gifted by a family friend, was the start of Paul’s music career.
Paul is a graduate of the Institute of Audio Research where he completed both the Audio Recording and Production programs. As a producer and engineer, Paul has recorded a wide variety of artists at studios including Retromedia Sound Studios (Red Bank, NJ), his own venture New Future (Belmar, NJ), as well as Lakehouse Recording Studios (Asbury Park, NJ).
Paul, an accomplished guitarist and lover of all instruments, has formed and played in too many bands to mention. Currently, he is active in Gods, Dark Heart (DRKHRT), and his long-time project, The Parlor Mob.
Over the last 20+ years, The Parlor Mob has been signed to several major labels, played hundreds of shows in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and they have been prominently featured in shows (Entourage, Friday Night Lights) as well as video games (EA Sports Nascar, MLB: The Show). In 2011, the band’s album Dogs was named iTunes’ “Rock Album of the Year.”
When he’s not making music, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and miniature dachshund, Pretzel.
