MAX CONNERY

PIANO | SONGWRITING

Max is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Asbury Park. A recent graduate of NYU’s
Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, Max studied songwriting, production, and synthesizers,
bringing both creative and technical depth to his teaching. He also spent years fronting the band
Sonic Blume, releasing two records, touring the east coast, and playing Asbury Park’s annual
Sea.Hear.Now festival in 2024. Alongside teaching, he stays active in the studio as a session
keyboardist. In his lessons, Max focuses on building strong fundamentals, exploring sound
design, and helping students bring their own creative ideas to life.
