Clare Del Grosso

VOCALS

Clare Del Grosso is an energetic voice teacher from Wantagh, New York, with years of experience in music education and childcare. Her love of music started from a young age. While singing in choirs, taking trumpet lessons, and learning guitar for her song writing, she found she wanted to share her love of music with others. She’s spent the past several years studying music education at Five Towns College, and teaching at a private music school in New York. During this period, she performed with a vocal jazz group, classical choirs, and started singing in a band that she still plays with today. In her last teaching position, she specialized in voice lessons, and early education music classes. She was also the teacher for several rock bands, which feature autistic adults who attend a local community center.

Before teaching music, she worked as the assistant director of a New York sleep away camp, and a preschool teacher. Here, she found her strength in supporting children during their explorations of the world, both in a traditional classroom setting, and out. Now, she has moved here to New Jersey to explore the historic music scenes of the shore, find performance opportunities, and continue to teach music to students of all kinds.
