Andrew Pevny is a New Jersey–born guitarist, composer, and educator, and a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music. A passionate player and writer since age 11, he has built a career rooted in creativity, advanced fretboard understanding, and high-level musicianship.
Andrew is a founding member of the melodic death metal band Framework, appearing on A World Distorted (2014) and Where We Divide (2017). He also performed bass for Christopher Amott’s band Armageddon, recording on Crossing The Rubicon: Revisited (2016). He currently performs and writes with Daughter Chaos, recording and mixing their debut EP and collaborating with engineer Mark Lewis on their 2025 release Noble Rot.
In addition to performing, Andrew is a seasoned transcriber and educator, creating instructional materials for students, private clients, and companies including TrueFire and Guitar Player magazine. His teaching focuses on creativity, strong fundamentals, and helping each student find their unique musical voice.
